Emergency response is a complex task that requires the management of a vast amount of information. All to often, emergency responders can quickly get “lost” in information that is unrelated to their particular emergency response role. This can make the responder inefficient and potentially delay the deployment of critical resources. OpsCenter recognizes that "information overload" is a serious issue for emergency responders and supports the ability to assign emergency responders to pre-defined roles. These pre-defined roles allow emergency responders visibility primarily to information that is required for their particular role in the emergency, while also providing access to other information as needed.
